Interesting how black and white can change the whole feel of the picture!
With the colour it is softer and more gentle.
The black and white has created a harsh angry feeling which I totaly did not expect!
The brighter areas of light are very sharp, one wonders if they could be subduede a little I don't know see what you think.
But the greys and whites bounce off each other, I think the white light emphasises the sharp edges of the rock face on this too, sadley you can barely see the little boat at the bottom which detracts from the David and Goliath, simply because David cannot be seen very well, if you understand me.
I like the way the cloud formation shows up though I love that very much indeed.
It is a fabulous photo, and both this and the colour one are good to look at.
An amzing contrast, not what I expected but quite a strong piece all the same.
If I had to choose one or the other I wouldn't know which one to pick because I like them both for very different reasons.
I think I like this because it shows strong emotions, and the colour because it is softer and more alluring, it is kind of like a good cop bad cop feel<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>
Still a brillaint piece though:iconexpose-it:
